I started looking around the house and realized I have way too many collections...not collectibles, but rocks I've picked up on vacation with no universal significance and fortunes from Chinese restaurants (only the good ones) and creamer jugs from secondhand stores and children's books. Here are a handful of them.
Buttons and fortunes next to the boxes they live in.
Scarves and things that resemble bird eggs (wooden shaker egg, rock from a beach in southern Spain, acorn from a burr oak).

I love collecting too! It's such a fun thing.. even if it's only 5 or 6 of something... it's still a collection, right? Sometimes things just look better in groups ;)

What fun! I LOVE scarves and I buy them as my souveniers when I travel. They are small, light and the augment my travel wardrobe AND they are constant reminders of my travels! Great post! Thank you for sharing your wonderful collection(s)! Have a great weekend!
