Visitors

Visitors
The cedar waxwings pass through my yard every winter in large, noisy, berry-loving groups, but sometimes they sneak up on me...I'll look up and see dozens of silent masked birds just staring down at me. Below is a closeup.

wow, so many fantastic illustrations snuck in at the last minute this week--glad I popped back over to look in!

I like the simplicity of fully rendering the birds and allowing the rest of the piece to bow to them.

This one is stunning. I like the contrast in color and between the line detail on the birds and the line softness on the branches. I also like the last few posts.
