Muir Woods redwoods and ferns, Mt Tam area, China Camp State Park, kelp that looks like Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas (Point Reyes), Tomales Bay (a place where they serve great clam chowder)
Didn't know you'd gotten so close. (Did you look up Sarah while you were here?) I haven't made it to Muir woods yet--getting through San Fran and over the Golden Gate is a major undertaking from where I am--only about 14 miles but it takes over an hour!
Did a quick trip to SF to visit an old friend and see her studio (it was open art studio day), but I was staying in San Rafael. Is that anywhere near you? I need to come back out there; too much to see and do....

HI there - And Tomales Bay is very famous for their oysters! : )
I'm a CA native (northern california)...looks like you had a great visit! Point Reyes is awesome!
You're a lucky woman! Northern California's pretty amazing. I'll have to try the oysters next time...
