Satsumas from my mother's garden

satsumas
These still life "props" have been sitting on my desk all week, and now I can finally eat them. A little south Texas vitamin C to combat this cold and sniffles.

It's cold & wet here so seeing this is a little bit of sunshine. Very nice. Love the graphic quality.

Thanks, Dana. Yeah, it always seems strange that such a sunshine-y fruit has a winter season...but strange in a good way.

Good enough to eat! So, I just checked out your website and I think my brain exploded. Your work is just incredible. There's a familiar feeling about it but it's utterly unique as well. I had a purely emotional reaction to it (a good one, with a bit of envy-I ain't gonna to lie). Simply amazing!

Michaele, what a wonderful compliment! It's heartening to know my work's out there having an effect in its own way, explosions and all.
